Hallo!

I am a biologist pursuing an internship at the exocean laboratory in CEREGE. My work focuses on the dissolution of foraminifera and the role of organic matter during this process. Passionate about the ocean, my aim is to get a better understanding of the importance of marine environments in mitigating climate change by dissolving calcium carbonates. 

Before joining CEREGE I studied global change biology at the University of Antwerp, where I learned about different consequences of climate change and to help mitigate these effects. 

Outside the lab you can find me somewhere hiking, chasing beautiful sunsets or enjoying a big cup of tea, usually accompanied with a homemade song and some jokes!
